A complete waste of time, but of some interest to all those truly loyal to Star Wars.
You Tube it.

Avast Antivirus
I've had it with Norton. For years I used Norton, then I went to CA. Then with my latest Dell, MacAfee. Then back to Norton 360 because McAfee sucks.
Anyway, after my Dell XPS (7 months old) started dragging, I hit the internet. Within 30 seconds, I decided to unistall Norton 360. Guess what, the terrible, mind-numbing, drag-tastic performance of my PC perked up. It was alive again. But now, no AV software.
More net time. I looked at AVG and Avast. Settled on Avast after a quick phonecall to my IT dude. It works. Doesn't slow my system down.

The Night they Drove the Ole Rebel down...
The end of an era has come. Colonel Rebel was forced into retirement today by the student body of Ole Miss. Someone once said, "Times, they are a changin'". Well, they're right. Col. Reb was booted from the sidelines in 2003, just six years after the flag (Confederate, that is) was banned from the stadium. Rather the sticks that allowed one to waive said flag were banned, and that was a shame as it became much more difficult to properly mix one's Old Charter and Coke. The sweet burboun breeze was not fanned along by the waive of Old Glory. Although this was a sad day, much like today's passing of Colonel Reb, I have to say the loss of "From Dixie with Love", certainly tore at my heart-strings. I can't imagine a song that could replace her, that would make one well up with pride with the crecendo of the band. Dixie, once played by collegent bands across the South, no longer echos amongst the pines of Vaught Hemmingway, or anywhere else for that matter.
There were days when cowards hid behind the flag, dixie, bed sheets, and crusaded in the name of The South. Those that cling to the symbols or the intolerance that they came to represent are largely to blame for their ultimate demise. The cry "Heritage not hate" carried with it the distaste of those who spat it out at every opportunity. These folks have forever tarnished the historical and sentimental value that symbolized the gentile Southern tradition once embraced at Ole Miss. I hope that the demise of "all things Southern" does not fester and consume those things which I value most from my Ole Miss days; blue sport coats and khakis for every game as a pledge, meeting your date's parents in the Grove, Sunday church after a hard "late night" after the game, or the fellowship between perfect strangers united only by the fact that we are are Rebels in some way...
Old times there are not forgotten.

Moon over Philly
AT&T DSL Magic Number
Anyone who has had DSL for at least 10 minutes has learned that when in goes down, a long and arduous process begins. 5 hours later, your "high speed" internet connection is likely to work, but will certainly not be anywhere near "high speed". Chances are, you've had the opportunity to find out about the weather in Bangladesh.
In any event, there is a number (you can thank me later) that will allow you to talk to a human that is a native English speaker in 10 minutes or less. Are you ready?
1-888-720-1275
Option 2
Even if this is a new problem, press option 2. You will speak with a human shortly. Sweetness.
This is the St. Louis service center, and I can honestly say that this number is the ONLY reason I still have DSL. Treat these folks nice, they will save your sanity.

Ah, refreshingly childish wear
I've always wondered where "them kids" come up with the witty, worn out t-shirts with their soft-porn themes.
I've figured it out. Enjoy.

I'm down for a Callahan Auto shirt myself. Just checkin' the specs on the rotary girder. I'm an idiot.
